Gilgit: Dead body of “missing” teen recovered from Barmas Nullah after 15 days

Gilgit, March 27: The dead body of Syed Maisum Ali was found today in the Barmas Nullah (stream) after almost 15 days of searching. Ali, a student of Al-Mustafa School, went missing while on his way to attended classes. His family, relatives and police authorities had been searching for him since then.

The news of his death and the recovery of his dead body in his school uniform Thursday evening fell like a bomb shell on the family and friends of Maisum who were waiting with hope of his return.

Police authorities have started investigating the case. The exact cause of Maisum’s sudden disappearance and his tragic death are yet to be ascertained.

  1. This innocence soul challenges the senselessness of society as well as savage behavior of mankind. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and give courage to parents to bear this irreparable loss. Though during studentship the death is considered martyrdom but such tragedy is unbearable as well.
