Gilgit: Around 300 activists of the Awami Action Committee are still present at the sit-in camp in Garhi Bagh, Gilgit. There are also reports of the presence of PPP leaders in the sit-in.

Skardu: Slogans were raised in favor of Pakistan at the Dharna held in Skardu. The rally was addressed by MWM leaders.

Chilas: The traffic on Karakuram Highway was thin compared to the past. Sit-ins were held on different sections of the KKH. The rally in Chilas was addressed by Maulana Muqit and other local social activists and leaders.

Gilgit: Elaborate security measures have been put in place in different parts of the Gilgit city. The roads to the CM house have been cordoned off.
There are no reports of violence or forced closure of roads and markets from any part of the region.

Aliabad (Hunza): A sit-in was held in Aliabad, Hunza Valley, in support of the charter of demands of the Awami Action Committee.
Speaking at the occasion Awami Workers’ Party leader Baba Jan criticized the Mehdi Shah government for trying to sabotage the peaceful movement. He said that if the government fails to accept the charter of demands the people of Hunza Valley will march towards Gilgit.

Khaplu (Ghangche): MWM leaders staged a sit-in at Khaplu, the district headquarters of Ghangche district, which is a PPP stronghold. Speaking at the occasion the leaders and scholars demanded acceptance of the charter of demands of the Awami Action Committee.

Skardu: Thousands of people have gathered in Yadgar Chowk Skardu on the call of the Awami Action Committee. The speakers are demanding of the government to take measures to implement the charter of demands. Huge slogans are being raised in favor of the Dharna.

Gahkuch (Feroz Khan): People gathered in the district headquarters of Ghizar. Traffic on the Gilgit-Chitral road remain suspended for several hours. The speakers addressed the gathering demanding restoration of wheat subsidy and acceptance of other demands made by the Awami Action Committee. The sit-in was addressed by Sultan Madad, Nazir Advocate, Tahir Ali Tahir and Bakhtawar, among others.

Gilgit: The sit-in at the historical Garhi Bagh has started. The number of people is lesser than the previous sit-in. The shops and markets remain closed and traffic remains thin on the roads. There are reports of sit-ins at around 7 places in Gilgit and Hunza-Nagar district.
