Spring Blossom in Shigar and Khaplu, Baltistan

Spring is the season of the year when the entire Gilgit-Baltistan region wears beautiful colours. Apricots, Cherry Trees, Almond Trees and all other trees adorn themselves with beautiful flowers. Shigar and Khaplu are two of the most beautiful valleys of the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Pamir Times senior member, Asghar Khan, has shared some stunning photographs of these valleys with us.

If you are planning a trip to the region and if you are in love with the fresh aroma of the valleys filled with apricot flowers, this is probably the best time of the year!
