Land Feud: Two people shot dead, three injured in Chitral

Chitral, May 5: Two people were shot dead and three others were injured during a dispute over a piece of land in the Chitral district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, the tragic incident took place in the Osiak village of Drosh Valley, some 50 kilometers away from Chitral town.
SHO Police Station Drosh informed that there was land dispute between two groups who were also close relatives and belonged to a single large family hailing from the Osiak village of Drosh Valley. Two rival groups clashed today and exchange indiscriminate fire with automatic and semi-automatic weapons, leading to the murder of Ameerul Mulk son of Maseehul Mulk and his twelve years old son Sameeul Mulk. Two persons from teh rival group were injured in the incident.
Drosh police lodged cross FIR against Iqbalul Mulk, Israrul Mulk, Maqsoodul Mulk sons of Inayatul Mulk residents of Osiak, Gul Ahmad son of Talib Jan resident of Kamsai Aranu, Ramdad Khan son of Payenda Khan and Qayum Khan resident of Kamsai Arando under 302/324/147/148/159/109 of Pakistan Panel Code (PPC) and arrested two accused Maqsoodul Mulk son of Inayatul Mulk and Qayum and started interrogation. Deceased Ameerul Mulk was cousin of Shehriar Baig senior journalist of Chitral.
