Preparedness: Emergency Camp established in Nagar Valley to cope with any eventuality

Hunza: (PR) The Hunza-Nagar district administration has established an emergency camp in the Nagar Valley, with a stockpile of tents, blankets, medicine and other essential items needed during a natural disaster.

The camp has been established in view of the threat posed by an active landslide at Phakar village of Nagar.

Deputy Commissioner of Hunza-Nagar visited the region and assured the people that steps are being taken for keeping them and their properties safe in the short and long term.

The deputy commissioner also visited other villages of the valley and instructed the administration officials to resolve public issues. He also ordered inquiry into the alleged usage of a Dispensary building for storing animal fodder.
