Lieut. Gen Hidayatur Rehman posted as Corps Commander Peshawar after promotion
Islamabad, September 22: Major General Hidayatur Rehman, hailing from Astore Valley, of Gilgit-Baltistan, has been promoted to the Lieutenant General and posted as the Corps Commander of Peshawar. He is the first army officer from Gilgit-Baltistan to reach the rank of Corps Commander.
The news of Lieut. Gen Hidayat’s promotion has brought joys to residents of the constitutionally and politically deprived Gilgit-Baltistan region.
