KADO elects new office bearers
Hunza (PR): Karakoram Area Development Organization held its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Karimabad Hunza. Amjad Ayub, Ex-Chairman KADO hosted an informal reception for delegates of AGM and Kamal Uddin CEO presented progress review of KADO for the year 2016. Out of the total 55 AGM members 42 members were present on the occasion.
AGM through democratic electoral process elected new chairman, vice chairman and new directors. Ghulam Mustafa was elected as new chairman of KADO while Abdul Rasheed was elected as Vice Chairman. The newly incorporated directors included Najuma Farman, Mehr Kamil, Numberdar Ijlal, Ibrahim and Javed.
The newly elected chairman and directors took oath and expressed their firm commitment to work for the betterment of the mountain communities of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
AGM members also discussed the emerging socio-economic outlook of the region, challenges, opportunities and role of KADO.
