Mother and child from Gilgit-Baltistan brutally killed in Korangi, Karachi

Gilgit: A mother and her son were brutally slaughtered inside their house located in the Gilgit Colony area of Korangi.

According to details, the killers entered the house and knifed the mother and child. The child died at the spot, while the mother breathed his last at a hospital.

The killers are at large. The murdered mother belonged to Harchu village of Astore.

DAWN newspaper has reported that the woman may have been killed by her close relatives over a marriage-related dispute.

Family members of the woman have appealed to the GB government to take the issue with the Sindh authorities and make efforts to arrest the murderers.
