Issues of youth discussed during conference organized by GISAK in Karachi
KARACHI: (PR) The Gojal Ismailia Students Association Karachi organized a conference for the youth of Gojal residing in Karachi on 30th September, at Nizari Community Hall.
The main purpose of this conference was to provide a platform for the youth to discuss the core issues they do face. The topics discussed were regarding Stress Management, Entrepreneurship and Youth Development.
Col(R) Zahid Hussain,Mubarak Kamlani and Akbar Lakhani were the speakers of this conference. The audience took deep interest in the speeches delivered, asked questions and shared their perspectives actively.
Chairman of GISAK also addressed the audience and shared his vision for the organization’s future. He highglighted the need for coming up with a dynamic approach to serve the students and residents of Gojal residing in Karachi. He also praised the families for their generous support for making this conference a success.
Mr Nisar Karim ex member GISAK was also given the chance to launch his book ‘Gojal- Between the Pamirs & the Karakarums- with contrast of Tribes.”
A musical program was also part of the session to keep the audience entertained.
GISAK is one of the oldest youth organizations representing Gojal Valley of Hunza. It has been instrumental in developing the leadership skills of the youth since the late 80s.
