Shʉpʉn X̌ik, documentary about Wakhi shepherdess, wins 2nd position in PTV film festival

ISLAMABAD: Shupun Xik (The Last of the Wakhi Sheperdess) has won the 2nd prize at the Green Belief Film festival held on 23rd march by PTV ( Pakistan Television Network). The documentary film was on aired on PTV Home on 23rd March at 9:30pm and our interviews were on aired on PTV News at 5:30pm(repeat 24th March 11:05am.

Directed by Zeeo Zia, the documentary features an ethnic Wakhi shepherdess. The documentary was produced by North Wind Films Hunza. The documentary has also been screened at international festivals in different parts of the world.

Firs position in the festival was won by Ali Suhail’s “Arz-e-Pakistan”, while the third position went to “Knitted Beliefs”, a film by Salman Alam Khan.
