[Poetry] My Country

My country is on the brink of destruction very badly.
No leader can bring the whole nation under one brolly.
All the dignitaries of the country are none but a bunch of crooks, to say sadly.
My country is taking shape very shabbily.

Bloodshed is on the rise.
Revenge is on the high.
People have become biased.
The reputation of the country is going down world-wide.

We can only sit and shed tears at the current scenarios.
All’s in your hand, Oh Lord..!
Save our country, Oh God..!

Wake the nation up from the deep slumber.
Make them realize, we are not different, we are one, we are one.
We are people of the same country..
