Lt. Gen Zaheerul Islam is appointed as Director General ISI

Islamabad, March 9: Lt. General Zaheerul Islam has been appointed the new Chief of Pakistan’s main intelligence agency, ISI. According to a notification issued by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gialni, the Corps Commander of Karachi has been asked to head the ISI. Lt. General Zaeerul Islam has experience of working for the spy agency. He replace Lt. General Shuja Pasha, who is scheduled to retire on 18th March.
