GISAK continues providing educational and career support to students of Gojal Valley
Karachi, Jaunary 2: (PR) Gojal Ismailia Students Association Karachi ( GISAK) organized sixth lecture of a series of programmes aimed at increasing awareness of youth and students. The sixth session focused on creating greater understanding about the role of His Highness the Aga Khan in continued development of AKDN.
Facilitated by renowned Scholar Dr. Jane Alam Khaki, the session was held at Institute of Educational Development. Dr. Khaki discussed the newly emerging institutions of AKDN, their functions and role in bridging with other communities across the world. He also elaborated the career opportunities in those institutions and how the youth can prepare themselves meritoriously to compete in an open market.
Earlier, GISAK Secretary finance Ali Yar welcomed the guest speaker and participants, while also briefly discussing objectives of the session.
At the end GISAK member Qasim Shah and Joint Secretary Didar Shah thanked the guest speaker and participants for making the program a success.
Good efforts made by GISAK in arranging such a fruitful session for the students of Gojal. It must be an open session rather then for few students or representatives of village based organizations.
