October 20, 2008Last Updated: October 20, 2008Gilgit, October 20: The government has chalked out a plan to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Northern Areas. This was stated by a spokesman of Municipal Committee Gilgit. He said that the committee constituted in this regard was preparing a summary for setting up a museum in the region which would be presented to the authorities concerned for formal approval. Antiques and rich cultural heritage of Northern Areas would be preserved in the museum, he added.

Thats a great plan to explore our unique culture and to pomote tourism in the region, i was very impressed when i visited Tajik Musuem in Taxqurghan China, presenting the past and present of Tajik people, it would be graet if it constucted in such style as the building itself presnt our culture.
