[Obituary] Muhammad Saleem (Sayyam) passed away in Shishkat – Gojal
Muhammad Saleem, 98, passed away in Shishkat Gojal, three days ago. He was an active member of the society and contributed in development of the village in different manners. According to some accounts he was among the first settlers in Shishkat village.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul.

Indeed he was among the first settlers of that time during 1908 when seven families migrated from Gulmit Gojal and settled in the adjacent village Nazimababd shishkkut. His contribution to the construction and development of that barren village to its agriculture, social and his active participation in the community of his time with our ancestors is remarkable and unforgettable.
