[Obituary]Haji Qurban Tai of Shimshal passed away

Islamabad, April 9: A prominent social worker of Shimshal Haji Qurban Tai, 80, passed away in his native village. He was father of Ali Aman and Qazi Karim.His exemplary services for the community during his entire life were hailed by the mourners. He was laid to rest in Shimshal valley.
Gulmit: In another sad incident mother of Master Ali Pana and late Ali Rehmat passed away yesterday mid night in Gulmit. She was aunt of senior journalist Farman Ali (DAWN).
She was laid to rest today at Gulmit.

It is really very shocking news to know about the sad demise of Poop Hoji Qurban Tai. He was a nice human being and a renowned social worker of Shimshal.

These elderly figures are in fact the pillars of our value system in the villages which were cut off from modern day civilizations but their teachings and contributions to the society were far better then the modern day materialistic so called educated leaders.
If we compare the value system of today (more educated people being part of the society) with that of our fathers, we find ourselves in hypocrisy, materialist, selfish and false world.

Late Moom Hakeem was such a kind and loving personality for all of us. Their service to the community of Gulmit in the honorary capacity of Kamadiani will be remembered for long. In the most difficult times, when they lost their loving son, late Uncle Ali Rahmat in a tragic accident in 1987, had shown exemplary courage to bear the greatest loss and their willingness to serve never diminished.
May Mowla bless her soul in peace and her family in Gulmit and Shimshal, great courage to bear this loss.
