GISAK organizes session for female students of Gojal valley

Karachi, August 23: The Gojal Ismailia Students Association Karachi (GISAK) held an academic session for Karachi based female students belonging to Gojal valley.
A panel of professionals comprising of Marina (Faculty member at AKU – Institute of Educational Development), Reshma Parveen (vice principal of AKHSS, Karachi), Shamila and Nasira (Nurses at AKUH) shared their expert opinions with the students on a range of subjects, including Education, Gender and Health.
Dr Shahida Muhiuddin in her speech as chief guest appreciated the organizers for prioritizing issues related to women. Sharing her personal experience she told the audience that a Karachiite married to a Hunzai she has been able to get insight about both cultures. She observed that interactions with the youth of Gojal and Hunza always inspires satisfaction about the progress made by the societies in a short span of time.
Members of the expert panel shared their knowledge and insights about relevant topic through interactive presentations. All members on the panel belonged to different parts of Gojal valley.
The session was attended by females studying at schools, colleges and universities. The participants appreciated GISAK for arranging the program.
The Association plans to arrange similar sessions in the future to help the students improve their academic endeavors and personality.
hi appreciate this , and gisak once again have stand up him self , and working for gojal students , thats type’s of program are very beneficial for our students , it leave positive impacts on our students and ,if student have any confusions or any problems ,they will be okay if we all united and seat under one plate form like gisak . and now i my self see gisak activeness and stand true and helpful for gojal student ,,,,,
I appreciate GISAK for taking such initiatives and keeping itself up with the changes and demands of the time. Including female members in their association is one another big achievement and thought. I especially acknowledge the efforts of Karim Ali Khan along with his active team members or representatives of different villages for re-activating GISAK. I believe that you can do much better in furture.
Participation of members from Khudaabad, Misgar & Ramanjii would be appreciated…
I would suggest organizers to please announce to all Gojal students about such an informative event. GISAK is for all students belong to Gojal without any discrimination. Participation from all villages must be encouraged and all village representatives must be informed about on going activities organized by GISAK.
