Cold wave kills eight in Skardu

LAHORE: At least eight people, including four of the same family, were killed by the recent cold wave in Kathisho, in upper Skardu, a private TV channel reported on Saturday. According to details, the road link of Kathisho has been disconnected and the people in the area are unable to reach any hospital, which could spread seasonal diseases. A team lead by District Health Officer Ghulam Haider has left for Kathisho after the death of the eight people, the channel said.
