OEC launches e-magazine and website in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Organization for Educational Change(OEC) – an independent students body of Gilgit – Baltistan, formally launched its WEBSITE and E – Magazine some days back here in the federal capital.

Speaking at the occasion, OEC President, Imtiaz Ali, said that TEAM OEC envisions a society that is scientifically innovative, socially and culturally integrated and economically prosperous.

OEC is paving the road for remarkable change in Gilgit - Baltistan and Chitral. With support from GB government, OEC can become a model of youth led educational initiatives for the world.

Earlier, member of OEC explained significance of e-presence and how their information sharing tools would enable students belonging to different parts of Gilgit – Baltistan and Chitral to get better information about educational opportunities across the globe.

Launching ceremony of the e – Magazine was attended by representatives of different organizations, civil society representatives and Islamabad based notables from different parts of Gilgit – Baltistan.

Maulana Attaullah Shahab – member GB Council and Mrs Attiqa Ghazanfar – former technocrat member of GBLA, also attended the session, among others.

    This the first e-magizine according to my information on the on the web, presents the indigenious people of the mountain.
