Officials of Gulmit Young Stars Club pay rich tribute to Rai Ghulam ud Din

Gilgit, November 5: Rai Ghulam ud Din was a great leader, with a broad vision and huge heart. His philanthropic activities benefited a large segment of the society, including youth and children.

These views were expressed by current and former officials of the Gulmit Young Stars Club (GYSC). The officials said that when the club was in need of a building for its office, Rai Ghulam ud Din presented his land for the purpose. “The office building stands as a symbol of Rai Ghulam ud Din’s interest in development of the youth, in the field of sports and culture”, a statement received by PT says.

The statement also praises Rai Ghulam ud Din’s contributions in the field of education, culture and social development.

The former and current officials, including Amin Jan, Fida Muhammad, Ghulam Nasir, Noor Muhammad, Meherban Karim, Aziz Muhammad, Rozdar Ullah and Safi Ullah Baig, have also extended condolences to the grieved family on behalf of all the members of Gulmit Young Stars Club.

Rai Ghulam ud Din passed away on November 3 in Karachi.
