World Teachers’ Day celebrated at Boys High School Gulmit

Gulmit: The World Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Boys High School Gulmit, Gojal Valley (upper Hunza). The day was dedicated to late Irfan Karim, a young teacher who lost his life in a tragic road accident last month, along with 9 other people.

Father of the deceased teacher was the guest of honour at the occasion. President of the Ismaili Regional Council for Hunza, Sharif Khan, who is himself a teacher, presided over the special event.

Teachers and students paid rich tributes to late Irfan Karim.

Students also performed different items to pay tribute to their teachers.
