Gojal Hotel Association wants loans wavied
Islamabad, February 24 (PR): A delegation of the Gojal Hotel Association led by Presedent M Rehbar met GB Council member Saeed Afzal, who is also the prime minister’s advisor, in the federal capital today.
The delegation demanded that the loans obtained by owners of small hotels in the Gojal Valley should be waived off because the region has officially been declared calamity hit and there has been no business for years, due to the blockade of Karakoram HIghway and the incidents of terrorism.
They demanded compensation at par with that given to hoteliers in the war ravaged Swat Valley.
The delegation consisted of Hussain Khan, Zahir Shah, Faryad Ullah Baig, Adeeb Akmal and Nazar Karim, among others.
