All Gojal Cricket Tournament started in Islamabad

Islambad, February 16: Eight matches were played between different village level teams on the first day of the All Gojal Cricket Tournament 2014, organized by Passu Students Association (PSA). The tournament has been named PSA Gojal Premier League.
The tournament has been organized to provide an enabling opportunity for the youth to forge unity and develop sportsmanship, to be able to live successfully in the years ahead.
MLA Mutabiat Shah was chief guest on the opening day. He appreciated PSA for organizing the event and urged the youth to use sports for overcoming social evils, while also building strong personalities in the wake of the existing and forthcoming challenges.
Also present at the opening ceremony were Engineer Baig Ali, Chairman GECA, Abdul Rasheed Chairman Mountain Areas Support Organization and renowned development expert Muhammad Darjat, among others.
Teams from different villages of the Gojal Valley are participating in the tournament. Second and final half of the tournament will be played next week.
