[Pictorial] Stone patterns along the mighty Indus River
The mighty Indus River, also known as the “Lion River”, flows through narrow gorges in the Baltistan region, before joining the Gilgit river near Jaglote. The formidable force and persistence of the water flow has carved beautiful patterns on rocks lying on the banks and in the middle of the of the river. Those beautiful patterns have been noticed by the imaginative and observant eyes of Imran Shah, who is a versatile photographer hailing from Gilgit.
These pattern carved by the might Indus have been photographed at various locations between Gilgit and Skardu.
Very beautiful.
