Hunza, May 26: Teachers have boycotted classes in Karaimabad for the last couple of days, in protest against non-fulfillment of their demands.
According to the teachers, their demands for promotion and pay raise have been pending with the provincial government for many months and no response is being given by the authorities.

Today, a number of students of the Boys High School Karimabaad, Hunza, also staged a protest demonstration at Zero Point, Karimabad, to support the demands of their teachers. They blasted the government for delaying the issues which, they said, was harming their education.

  1. What is the usage of having our own self Governance in Gb. By whom we should make complaint where we have our own CM ,Governor and speaker as well. Why they are not serious about the solution of this burning issue. The leadership( regardless of that you are figure heads or leaders) should convince the teachers if they are not on right track if Teachers are on right track and their demands are genuine than leadership should find solution of issues. It should be further clarify that solution should not be at the cost of whole gb as it was done earlier. The having of future builders and generation on the road really challenging and alarming for all leadership and management as well. We do not know by whom intervention is still awaited it is duty of GB govt ( Govt means Political leadership) to address this issue. The task of relevant management is implementation of policy not making law or formulating policy.
