Imran Shah, a photographer par excellence, is in love with birds. He has photographed beautiful birds during the month of August 2014 in various parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, including Deosai, Gojal Valley (Hunza), Yasin Valley and Naltar Valley. The Gilgit-Baltistan region is home to many species of birds, including the Golden Eagle, which is found in the Khunjerab National Park, close to the Chinese border.
Imran has also provided the common and scientific names of the birds, making this post a very good resource for people interested in birds. The common and scientific names can be seen by hovering the mouse over the image in the gallery below, or by clicking on the image.
