Bishkek to Host Global Technology Conference in October


BISHKEK: (PR) The University of Central Asia (UCA), State Committee for Information Technology and Communications, and the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic will hold the first annual International Conference on Digital Transformation in Central Asia, at the Hyatt Regency Bishkek and the UCA Naryn Campus in Kyrgyzstan from October 4th to 6th 2019. The DTCA conference is jointly organised with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the framework of the “Sanarip Kyrgyzstan 2019-2023” project, which has designated 2019 as the Year of Regional Development and Digitalisation. The DTCA conference will bring together over 20 international speakers from 12 countries, and over 100 leading technology leaders from Central Asia, to discuss the technology trends in Central Asia for the next 3 to 5 years. It will provide opportunities for technology professionals, government officials, educators, and researchers to meet and discuss the latest approaches to solving intriguing challenges in the fields of data collection and analysis, digitising government services, management (public and private), cyber security, and the increasing role of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education and research.

“This will be an opportunity for technology leaders to leverage their experience and share innovative ideas to cooperate in the digital journey. The DTCA conference also shows the commitment of the University of Central Asia in using technology in the development of Mountain Societies,” said Shaukat Ali Khan, Chief Information Officer at UCA.
