KKH Gilgit – Hunza section to remain open tomorrow

Gilgit, May 30: The Karakuram Highway will be opened for traffic tomorrow to facilitate the people of Hunza – Nagar stranded in Gilgit.

The helicopter service initiated by Pakistan Army is over burdened because it is also being used for supplying relief items.

Everyday hundreds of people throng the helicopter field at Sonikot but return disappointed due to unavailability of space.
