US sends relief goods for flood affectees of GB

Islamabad August 30: A package of five thousand kilograms of relief items donated by USA reached Islamabad today. These relief goods would be distributed among the affectees of recent floods in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to media detail an American plane KC-130 reached Islamabad carrying relief goods of five thousand kilograms, that would reach the affectees of Gilgit-Baltistan region within a few days. The US representatives said they are much concerned about the damages done by the rains and floods in Gilgit-Baltistan and will send more relief goods to the area if required.
The Americans with the help of army helicopters have distributed relief goods of worth one million (ten lac) US dollars in other flood affected areas in other parts of Pakistan also. They have also rescued eight thousand human lives.
