Delegation from China reaches Sost on official visit of Gilgit-Baltistan

Sost, September 19: A five member delegation of officials from the Xinjiang province of China reached the border town of Sost, Gojal, today. The delegation will meet Gilgit-Baltistan Inspector General of Police, among other officials, reports Radio Pakistan. The delegation will also visit the monument of Chinese workers who died during the construction of the Karakoram Highway in three decades ago.

The delegation was received at the Khunjrav Pass by officials of the Hunza – Nagar district administration.
