GBGA expose' results in cancellation of 40 illegal appointments in Food and Agriculture Department
PT Report
GILGIT : Gilgit – Baltistan Graduates Association met GB Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chatha, and presented to him proof of illegal recruitments in Agriculture and Food Department. The Chief Secretary called Secretary Agriculture to his office and sought an explanation with regards to veracity of the proof. The Secretary Agriculture accepted the irregularities and confirmed that illegal appointments had been made in his department.
The Chief Secretary cancelled all the appointments and and declared them vacant on the spot.
He assured GBGA of taking legal action against those responsible for the mishap. It is pertinent to note that Senior Minister, Wazir Jafar, is responsible for the said department.
The Chief Secretary also thanked and appreciated GBGA for their action against illegal appointments.
GBGA demanded that stern action shall be taken against those who are promoting corruption in government departments on the basis of ethnic, sectarian and regional lines.
Talking to the GBGA delegation Chief Secretary said that hundreds of vacancies are lying vacant for last two years because of no agreement on vacancies distribution among ministers.
“Had there been political will and consensus among ministers all vacancies would have been filled till now. We are creating more vacancies for educated people for next fiscal years so that more and more educated people are recruited in the government sector”, said the Chief Secretary.
He assured GBGA of implementing merit in recruitment and pledged his support to GBGA.
Great job done by the GB Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chatha but I think If there were no proof, then may be he had not cancelled the appiontments, because everything is possible under this government……any doubt!!!

—————DEAR ALL,
VERY BAD NEWS FOR ME BEING 28 YEARS IN PROFESSIONAL LIFE. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE CANDIDATES OR JOB SEEKERS-HOWEVER, HOW THE MINISTER BE COUNCIL ED AND COME OUT OF SUCH DEGRADE APPROACHES IN HIS CAPACITY.
THERE IS NOT ANY DIFFERENCE IN APPROACHES OF SUCH SELECTED PEOPLE FROM ALLOVER THE COUNTRY AND EVERY WHERE THE SITUATIONS ARE SAME. JUST CANCELLATION IS AGAIN A GREAT LOSS TO THE PEOPLE OF GB, SO MY SUGGESTION UD BE HERE TO GBGA TO DEFINE THE CAFETERIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THIS IS NOT THE SOLUTION—–THIS IS JUST TO STOP THE UNJUSTIFIED APPROACHES TOWARDS APPOINTMENT. THE BODY SHOULD SUGGEST WHAT ACTUALLY BE SOLUTION. WHAT UD BE THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF GBGA IN SOLVING SUCH PROBLEMS OF THE SOCIETY OF GB.
WE HAVE TO PROVIDE THE ORIENTATION TO THE SELECTED COUNCIL MEMBERS WITH THE DEVELOPED WORLD-HOW THEY ARE EXERCISING THEIR POWERS IN LARGER INTEREST OF THE SOCIETY. THIS REFORM WORKS WE HAVE TO START FROM OUR HOME. THEN WITH IN THE BLOOD RELATIONS, VILLAGES AND THEN AT COUNCIL LEVEL.
EVERY INDIDUALS OF GB WHOM DO UNDERSTAND-TO BE ABOVE CASTE, CREED AND SECTS ABD BEING OF HUMAN BEING UD BE THE SOLITIONS OF SUCH PROBS. SOCIETY REFORM UD BE THE ONLY SOLUTIONS OF SUCH PROBS.
Great Effort. If the same action could be taken in other departments, which are more corrupt. Un educated people have been given priority and hired illegal and un concerned people.
