Administrators to be appointed at District and Tehsil level in GB

Ghanghce, October 10: Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has said that  Administrators will be appointed at district and Tehsil level in Gilgit – Baltistan. He shared the information PPP workers in Khapulu, Ghangche.

He further said that all such appointments will be made after consultation with public representatives.

The local government bodies in GB are not functional because election have not been made for appointment of the members of district and and union councils.

CM told the delegation that legislation is being made for appointment of administrators at the local bodies level in GB.

Radio Pakistan has reported that during his visit of Ghanche, the CM also announced establishment of a girl’s college and widening of the Skardu-Ghanche road.
