Milky Way Trust joins hands with stepUP to financially support 500 students in GB

Islamabad, February 26: Milky Way Trust, a youth-led initiative from Gilgit – Baltsitan, has joined hands with stepUP, an NGO run by Ali Moeen Nawazish of the A-Levels fame, to support 500 students in Gilgit – Baltistan.
According to information as agreement was signed today between the two organizations to financially support needy and meritorious students.
It is pertinent to note that the Milky Way Trust has already been providing financial support to 40 students in the Yasin Valley of Ghizar district.
“The cooperation will enable us to support more children”, Shah Zaman, the leader of Milky Way told Pamir Times. He also said that plans are afoot for establishment of two digital libraries in the region.
He said that the Milky Way Trust has been able to support children in the past after getting donations from individuals belonging to different walks of life. Zaman appealed to the youth of GB to come forward and play a positive role in educating the society.
The Milky Way Trust is being managed by students belonging to different parts of Gilgit -Baltsitan.
