Canadian tourist injured near Nanga Parbat base camp – Updated

Chilas, May 15: The Canadian national, Gregory Fredrick, was injured near the base camp of the Nanga Parbat while skiing and he was not hit by avalanche, according to updates received from journalists based in Chilas.

The tourist was part of a team that had gone to the Base Camp area of the Nanga Parbat mountain through the Bunar Nallah area.

The tourist has reportedly been shifted to a hospital in the district headquarters.
