Gilgit: Chief Ministers needs “prayers” of youth loan scheme beneficiaries during upcoming elections

Gilgit, December 6: The Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah on Saturday urged beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Self Employment Loan Scheme to pray for his success in the upcoming general election. He also urged the beneficiaries to “keep the cheque distribution in mind”.
This he said while addressing 200 beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Self Employment Loan Scheme Cheque distribution ceremony organized by Tourism department GB and Akhuwat Foundation.
He claimed that the loans amounting 200 million (20 crore) have been distributed on the basis of pure merit and transparency has been ensured at all levels. He felt proud on Samina Baig the first lady mountaineer from Pakstan who scaled up to the Mount Everest and said the people of GB shows their talents at international levels while the credit takes by the government of Pakistan. Later, Samina Baig and her brother Mirza Baig have been awarded cash prizes by the tourism department GB.
