BISP Communication strategy launched in Gilgit-Baltistan
Gilgit: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program Marvi Memon has said government is taking steps to empower and address problems confronting the women in the country.
This she said while addressing the launching ceremony of BISP Communication strategy in order to fill the gaps in communication between BISP and its beneficiaries. The communication strategy comprises basic elements of social mobilization, including involvement of community members in mobilization process and engaging the beneficiaries in group activities. It also includes media strategy most suitable for the type of education levels of BISP’s current beneficiaries.
She said Prime Minister’s Interest free loan scheme has been extended to Gilgit Baltistan and asked the women to apply for the loan to bring a positive change in their life by establishment of their own business.
