Accident: Tragedy befalls family going to attend a wedding in Yasin Valley of Ghizer
Gahkuch/Yasin: A vehicle carrying five passengers – husband, wife and their three daughters – fell in river in the Yasin Valley of Ghizer last night at around 10 O’clock, while making a sharp turn near the Morka RCC Bridge.
On hearing about the tragic incident, local volunteers rushed to the area and took the husband and wife out alive. The three daughters, unfortunately, could not be found despite of several hours of search. The husband has been identified as Pinin, son of Yusuf Panah, hailing from the Hundur village of Yasin.
Fourteen hours after the tragedy, the body of Areeba, 6, was found on the riverbed near 10 kilometers away from the accident site. Search for Alishba, 12, and Atiya, 6, was underway till filing of this report.
