Tower of “Lord Kitchner of Khartoum” destroyed by the landslide in Attabad Hunza

The historical monument constructed to commemorate Field Marshal Earl Kitchner of Khartoum’s visit of Hunza valley, during the Great Game, has been destroyed by the landslide. The monument was constructed along the old Silk Route, a pony track. [by Zulfiqar Ali Khan]
