Yom-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) observed in Gilgit – Baltistan

Gilgit, November 27: Tanzeem Ahl-e-Sunat wal Jamat held rallies across Gilgit  Baltistan on Yom-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA). Large number of people from different walks of life participated in the rallies.

Addressing a gathering in Gilgit city near Konodas bridge, Ameer of Tanzem Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamat, Mulana Qazi Nisar, demanded of the government to make arrangements for observing the martyrdom day of the pious caliphs at government level. He also demanded that a official holiday should be announced on these important days.

The gathering was also addressed by political leaders, including Abdul Wahid and Hemayat ullah.

Mulana Saqib also addressed the rally in Gilgit and he emphasized  that for maintaining religious harmony people should not give any attention to rumours.
