Malik assures Mehdi Shah of Islamabad’s support for maintaining law and order in GB

Islamabad, November 28: Federal interior minister Rahman Malik has assured Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mahdi Shah of Islamabad’s support for maintaining law and order in the region.

CM Mhadi Shah met Malik in Islamabad and discussed with him the security arrangements made for Muharram, as well as the general law and order situation in GB.

Rahman Malik talking with Mahdi Shah said that no stone would be left unturned for eliminating terrorism and peace wold be enssured in Gilgit Baltistan at all cost.

Malik ordered the GB scouts to cooperate with police during Muharram. CM Mahdi shah informed Rahman Malik that he had issued orders to increase police patrol in sensitive areas.
