Tanzeem Ahl-e-Sunnat demands repeal of one-sided policy

March 14: Tanzeem Ahle Sunnat has demanded of the government to repeal its one-sided policy and review the decisions taken under the pressure of a particular group.
Addressing a joint press conference president of TAS Abdullah Haideri, Himait ullah, Maulana Saqib and Maulana Nawab said that during his visit to Gilgit federal interior minister neglected the Ahle Sunnat and by this attitude he “encouraged the enemies of peace” .
They also expressed reservations on the reports that provincial government on the directives of federal interior minister was planning to bring changes in syllabus.
“Government will be responsible of all consequences if any change in the text books is brought with out consultation of Ahle Sunnat”, they warned.
“Ahle Sunnat will not tolerate any change in curriculum against their believes”, they added.
They said the deteriorating law and order situation was a result of weak policies of government added that all the culprits involved in the incidents of terrorism were at large and government was taking no interest to bring them to justice.
“We are not against the privilege package provided to the victim families of Kohistan tragedy but the same compensation should be paid to those Ahle Sunnat families whose loved ones were martyred by terrorists from 2001 to till date”, they demanded.
