65 victims of Siachin avalanche belong to GB, 30 to AJK, 13 Punjab, 4 Sindh, 3 Chitral

Islamabad – 65 of the 135 soldiers and civilians trapped under debris of an avalanche that struck on April 7 belong to Gilgit – Baltistan, while 30 hail from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources of the 65 trapped persons 24 belong to Skardu, 12 to Ghizar, 8 to Ghanche, 6 to Gilgit, 6 to Astore and 1 to Hunza Valley.
13 victims of the avalanche disaster hail from Punjab, 4 from Sindh and 3 from Chitral (KP).
Some of the trapped people have yet to be identified, sources informed.
