GECA appoints new cabinet
Islamabad, May 14, 2013: Gojal Educational and Cultural Association (GECA) formed new cabinet as per the Article-12 of its bylaws. The new cabinet comprises of Baig Ali, Chairman; Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Honorary Secretary; Daulat Karim, Vice Chairman Culture; Aziz Ahmed, Vice Chairman Education; Bakhtullah, Secretary Finance.
The representatives of WTCA, GSF, GISAK and all other village level organizations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad will be the ex-officio members of GECA. The cabinet members from Lahore, Peshawar, Abbotabad and other cities will be announced later.
Mr. Baig Ali, the newly appointed Chairman has appreciated the efforts of the outgoing Chairman Mr. Tayib Jan and his cabinet for volunteering their time and knowledge for the benefit of GECA. He to make GECA a vibrant platform to address the pressing needs students and families living in GECA focus areas.
Gojal Educational and Cultural Association (GECA) is the representative platform of the Gojal Diasporas and students in Rawalpindi-Islamabad and the surrounding cities. GECA is mandated to work in education, culture and the social welfare of its target community.

Dear Uncle Baig Ali and appointed team members, Accept our heartiest Congratulations for the new appointments, on this happy occasion I would also applaud the positive role of our seniors of GECA, like (Farman Ali, Baig Ali, Gul Baig, Fayyaz Ahmed Dewan, Commandar Ejaz, Jabbar Khan, Zafar Iqbal, Safdar Ali, Darajat and Sher Karim)
The role of Editor, Farman Ali in introducing GECA with Lok Virsa and allied institutions like National Book foundation and Urdu Akadmi Adbiyat was tremendous and excellent, as a result GECA has established good contacts and reputation.
GECA would have many challenges ahead, one of them would be acquiring space at Arts and Craft village, this is very much important and anticipate priority of appointed cabinets.
Myself, Mr. Sher Karim of Gulmit and Qurban Karim of Khyber are always available from Gilgit to extend any sort of help and required mobilization.
Congratulations to the newly appointed cabinet of GECA. We hope that you will fly GECA to new heights and spread its cause to every corner of the world where Gojalies live. I wish everyone the best of luck and our whole hearted support.
