1 kilogram Charas seized by Hunza-Nagar Police

Gilgit, April 4: Officials of the Gulmit Police Station have seized almost 1,000 grams of Charas from a resident of Nomal near Sarat Village, close to the Attabad spillway in Hunza Valley.
According to details, SHO Abdul Hameed and Mohrir Hussain Jami along with others have reportedly raided a hideout and seized around a kilogram of Charas from Muhammad Ismail, son of Muhammad Ibrahim, reportedly a resident of Nomal, Gilgit.
The alleged criminal has also been arrested and a case has been registered against him.
It is pertinent to note that the supply of Charas to the Gojal Valley has increased significantly after the Attabad landslide disaster with the arrival of boat operators, labourers and criminals working under different guises.
The local communities have been demanding of the police to take strict action against the anti-social elements who are destroying the lives of youth and their families.
