Asst. Director BISP Chitral accused of mistreating public, journalist

Chitral, December 3:  A number of deserving beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) have complained against the alleged inhuman behavior of Didar Ahmad Parvez Assistant Director BISP Chitral office.  Locals have accused Didar Ahmad of supporting his relatives, near and dears, while the common people are made to wait outside his office for hours.

They said that there are some missing cards cases and we have already submitted applications for renewal but Didar Ahmad using delaying tactics. He was accused of giving the public a specific date to come to come to his office and then misbehaving with the complainants and beneficiaries. Some people also complained that some poor people were deprived from BISP but it is giving to rich and well developed people.

When local journalist visited BISP office to ascertain the factual position, based on complaints from the public, Didar Ahmad came out with a very inhuman attitude and stopped the journalist from performing his duties. He also allegedly used abusive words and threatened to kill the journalist if he highlighted the complaints against BISP.

The journalist brought the issue into the notice of Station House Officer Police station Chitral and properly submitted application for lodging FIR against Didar Ahmad. However, the local police still has not registered an FIR against  him.

Social and political circle of Chitral have demanded of the Chairman and Director General BISP to take action against Didar Ahmad Parvez for his inhuman behavior with  pubic and replacing him with a more honest and polite officer.

It is worth to mention here that he was  found insulting poor women and they were compelling to set outside of his office for hours.
