DG Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts calls on Interior Minister
Islamabad: (PR) Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has appreciated the role being played by Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts in security the Karakoram Highway.
He said this while talking to DG Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts who met him here this afternoon.
The Minister euologized the services of Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts and said though it is a young force yet it has carried out its responsibilities in a mature, responsible, and professional manner.
He said that Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts can play a vital role in bringing peace, tranquility and progress through security in the beautiful and tranquil area of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the Ministry of Interior will make every effort to ensure that the operational needs of this force are fully met.
