Lights go off in Gilgit city also!!

Protest in Gilgit city against load shedding. All parts of Giglit have been gripped by power breakdown for the past several weeks. In areas like Khomar, Zulfiqarabad and Barmas, thousands of households remain without electricity for most parts of the day. The residents of Noor Colony and Wehdat Colony expressed their anger and frustration on the roads today by burning tyres and protesting against the GBPWD officials for failing to provide electricity to the city residents.
