He has remained a poet that has compelled many minds to get to the core of many things and think beyond the imaginations even and to travel in the world of no materials and only effections and love.
I salute the great man who has changed the mind pattern of many and has given a new aspect of living life dspite all the constraints.

Her yad ko yun zakhm banate nahi dil ka
her teer ko pewasti regi jan nahi kerteh
ye masla ab ahli muhabbat ka hain apna
merte tu kuch ap ye ahsan nahi kerteh
khat layain na layain tera ham nama baron ko
bes dekte rehten hain preshan nahi kerteh
eyse bi tu rekte nahi khenjer pe gulu ko
itna bi tu qatil ko pesheman nahi kerteh
kab shama jalata hain shabi mah me koyi
tu ayain tu aam gar me charaghan nahi kerteh
logon ko guman tak nahi hota hain junun ka
ham dil ki tra chak gereban nahi kerteh
ham tunj ke chale atain hain yaro dari jana
Ghalib ki trah minati darban nahi kerteh

Indeed we lost a man who inspired many generations through his thoughts and reflections…..
His contributtion and work will inspire many generations in future and will help in shapping our directions
Tishnagi aankhoon ma aur darya khiyalon may rahey
Ham nawa gar, khush rahey jaisey bi halon may rahey
Iss qader dunya key dukh aae khoobsooret zindagi
Jis tara titlee ko makdi key jaloon may rahey
Ham sey kiyon mangey hisab-e-jaan koyee jab umer bher
Kon hain, khiya hain, kahan hain? Inn sawalon may rahey
Aik dunya ko meri diwangi khush aa gayee
Yaar maktab ki kitaboon key hawaloon may rahey
Ishiq may dunya gawayee hey na jaan di hey Faraz
Phir bi ham ahl-e-muhabat ki misaloon may rahey
His poetry has touched many hearts and souls and were widely read, praised and sung not only in Pakistan but out side Pakistan as well.
May the deceased soul rests in eternal peace.

The nation has really lost a great asset and an amazing personality. May his soul rest in eternal peace (Aamin).
Ahmad Faraz will be remembered as a revolutionary poet and scholar in Urdu literature. His poetry will remain a valuable asset for all folks of life. I salute for his wisdom and vision and pray that almighty Allah bless his soul in eternal peace and give patience for his family members.
